Faith Hill recently celebrated her 41st birthday, and got the cover of Shape magazine at that same time. The 41-year-old mother of three, has definitely been taking care of herself. In the interview in the December 2008 issue, Faith talks about how Pilates helped her get into shape. I’m sure the article will be great, and am looking forward to reading it.
In addition to Shape magazine, Faith also has the cover of the Nov. 7, 2008 Ladies Home Journal. According to the short blurb on the cover, the article in the Ladies Home Journal, titled "Faith’s Hope & Joy," will include things like her new CD, how she gives back, and her ‘uncool’ no cell phone policy. (Apparently Faith and Tim have had a little disagreement lately, as to whether their 10-year old daughter should have a cell phone.)
Tim McGraw will throw out the first pitch at tonight’s World Series game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays. The pitch is in honor of Tim’s dad, Tug McGraw, pictured here with Tim in this 1984 shot from Esquire Magazine. Tug died in 2004 from brain cancer.
Tug was a pitcher with the Phillies when they won the World Series in 1980. Everyone who watched that game has to remember the leap off the mound Tug made after pitching the last ball of the game. The photo at the right is available for purchase at AllPosters.com. Just click to place your order!
That’s all for this morning. I’ll get something else up here for you later today – but wanted to make sure you knew about Tim’s appearance at tonight’s Phillies/Rays game.
I hope you guys are all enjoying your weekend. And to those of you off any concerts or other fun events in your area, remember to drop me a line and tell me about them – and send pictures! I love pictures.
Talk to you all soon!
