Tim newest I guess we’ll have to wait a few more years to find out if we’ll have a chance to put Tim McGraw in the governor’s mansion in Nashville. According to a short article at CMT.com, Tim will not be running for the job in 2010. Looks like I’ll have to wait a while to debate the issues with Tim.smile_nerd

Here’s what the CMT news said: "Tim McGraw will not run for governor of Tennessee in 2010, according to a spokesman. McGraw was listed as a potential candidate by The New Republic magazine earlier this month although McGraw himself never publicly stated that he would enter the race. "There’s no truth to this," McGraw’s representative told People. "It’s something he is interested in but not for 2010. Later in life." (Photo Credit: Sean Gardner/Getty Images)

Carrie3 - Copy Carrie Underwood is the top selling female country artist of 2008. I would say her 2008 CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Awards are well deserved. Her Carnival Ride tour this year played to more than 1.2 million fans, and she finished the year as the most heard artist on country radio. I can believe that. She is also the number one country artist in both Billboard and Radio & Records. It would appear Simon Cowell really does know how to pick a winner.

DSC_0019 Mindy McCready is in the hospital in Nashville, apparently she tried to kill herself by slitting her wrists and taking a bunch of pills. She is in stable condition, and was apparently taken to the hospital by her brother, Timothy.

She’s been in the news a lot this year – She spent a while in Rehab, spent some time in jail in October, and claimed to have had an affair with baseball legend Roger Clemens. And, this isn’t the first time she’s landed in the hospital for trying to kill herself. I just hope she can get  the help she’s obviously seeking, and get herself together. Wishing you all the best, Mindy.

Countrya That’s all for now! Talk to you all real soon.
