We’ve got a number of CD’s coming out soon. And, I’m ready for them. Eric Church will release his new CD on March 24. It’s called “Carolina,” and is the second release on Capitol Nashville. This album is also being produced by Jay Joyce. Eric’s first album was “Sinners Like Me.” He said that album changed his life, but “you can’t make the same record again,” he said.
Three of the songs from his first CD were Top 20 country hits. Those were “How Bout You,” “Two Pink Lines,” and “Guys Like Me.” I’m sure we can expect another top 20 (or two, or three) from the new album as well.
Here’s one of Eric’s songs you may not have heard before, It’s called “World Needs a Drink”.
Before that album comes out in March, we’ve got Dierks Bentley to look forward to on February 3.
Dierks’ new album is called “Feel That Fire,” and I almost hate to say this, but that’s about all I know about it right now. February 3 will also be the release date for Wynonna’s “Sing,” and for Jake Owen’s “Easy Does It.” I’ve been both Dierks and Jake at the Appalachian Fair in Gray, and they both put on a fantastic show. We all know a lot of their music, and I think everyone is looking forward to the releases of these new albums.
Now, let’s get back to March … I think that was where I started all this. March 17 we’ve got Jack Ingram. Still don’t have a title on that one yet. and on March 31, we’ll get Keith Urban’s Defying Gravity and Billy Ray Cyrus, “Back to Tennessee."”
I think I’ll put another YouTube video in here for you guys, then I’ll head out for now. (I love YouTube. You can find a bunch of cool stuff on there). Here’s Billy Ray’s “Somebody Said a Prayer.”
Have a really great day, and when you can, include me in your schedule – I’d love to have an e-mail from you!
