Joey Rory 1 It looks like we won’t have to wait until next Christmas to see Joey and Rory in another television commercial. I love these guys, and I’ll actually be looking forward to another commercial that they are in.

These guys are keeping busy. It was back in June that they were named finalists on the CMT show “Can You Duet.” They signed a recording contract with Vanguard Sugar Hill Records in July, and in September their music video and debut single “Cheater Cheater”: were being aired everywhere. Their debut album is titled “The Life of a Song,” and was released in October.

Joey Rory 2 You probably all remember they were the stars of the Overstock.com commercials this past holiday season. I even put one of those commercials here on my site for everyone to see. That probably wasn’t necessary, since it is estimated that nearly one billion people have seen that commercial on television.

Joey Rory 7 Well, the pair are at it again. They recently filmed a series of commercials which will air on CMT beginning in February. The commercials are for Parkay Margarine, and were filmed at Marcy Jo’s Mealhouse in the Pottersville Community near Columbia, Tenn., where the couple. (Marcy Gray is Joey’s sister-in-law).

I found this great video on YouTube – it’s the video Joey and Rory submitted to Can You Duet when they were first auditioning for the show. I think these two have a great future ahead of them. I’d love too see them in concert sometime soon. So, I’m keeping my eye on their tour schedule!

Thanks again to my friend, Rebecca, for the pictures used in this post. Talk to you guys later – Write when you can!
