kenny_chesney Kenny Chesney loves the beach. That’s never been a secret. I don’t know where he got that though. He’s from Tennessee – we’re pretty much land-locked around here. I don’t much like the beach. Just something about salt water, seaweed and sand sticking to me that I’m really not that excited about. (And we haven’t even gotten into jellyfish, sharks, and other critters yet).

But, maybe if I had the money Kenny has I would buy a house near the ocean. Not to swim in the ocean, but to live near it and listen to the waves. That would definitely be relaxing. And all, that was leading up to this.

Kenny has just purchased a new house in Key West, for a reported $5.7 million. It’s a 7,000 square foot house, with seven full baths and a half bath (why in the world do you even need the half bath with there are seven full ones). At any rate, the house also has 13-foot ceilings, a guest house with a private gym, and of course there’s the 42×18 foot heated swimming pool.

KennyCH The house was built in 1898, and is considered one of the most notable properties in Key West. The house has five bedrooms… and of course granite countertops and teak cabinetry.

It has got to be one gorgeous house. I often wonder how much time these guys have to spend at home. Or how much time they have to entertain guests. But it sure is a nice place to invite people over to watch the Superbowl or something.

I better get out of here for a while. I have so much to do right now. You guys take care, and write when you can.
