Newlywed John Rich will be releasing a solo album in May. The CD is called “Son of a Preacher Man.” A fitting title, since John is in fact the son of a minister. (Has anyone seen any pictures from the wedding yet? I’d love to have one to put up here if someone has one to send).
While we’ll have to wait until May for the full CD, the first single from that album is scheduled out on Jan. 12. So keep your radios on and call to request the song from your favorite station. The title of the single is “Another You.” The album was recorded on Warner label, the home of Big & Rich.
And of course John is busy working on the third season of Gone Country, which will hit CMT later this month.
Pat Green is back with an album set for release on Jan. 27. The CD is called What I’m For, and has 10 songs, including the single “Let Me.”
This will be Pat’s 11th release. I really like him. I got to see Pat at The Appalachian Fair in Gray a while back, and he ranks right up there with the nicest, most down-to-earth entertainers I’ve ever met.
Pat hasn’t been in this area for a while, I’d love to have him back. For any of you who have never seen him in concert, I hope you will when he gets near your area. He puts on a great show.
Busy day planned – have to scoot for now. You guys take care – Write soon, send stuff! And if I didn’t get any of your mail answered during Christmas, I’ll do my best to get it done this week.
