Did you all enjoy the Superbowl on Sunday? I did, and I’m not even a football fan. Faith Hill did a great job with “America the Beautiful,” the commercials were funny (some of them), and the Steelers won! That doesn’t mean a lot to me, since I’m not a huge football fan. But I know people who wanted them to win, so I’m glad they did.
Speaking of the commercials, if you missed any of them, you can go to NBC.com, or hulu.com and catch the mall there. I’ve always been a huge fan of YouTube, but hulu is turning into a great place for me to visit, too.
Today I just wanted to pass on these photos from game day. I wonder how Tim felt wearing VIP identification. I’ve got my share of those, but then, I’m not Tim McGraw. I see Faith didn’t have to wear one.
And if you didn’t get to see any of the preceding moments of the game (actually, it was the preceding hours and hours of pregame stuff), here’s the video of Faith performing “America the Beautiful.”
Now that the big game is over – and I still have plenty of “television type snack food” left over, I guess it’s about time to spread out in front of the television set again, and get comfortable for the Grammy’s. To all of you Steeler fans, congratulations on the win! To all our country fans out there, hope you enjoyed the Faith Hill pregame performance. And to all the Tim McGraw fans, yeah… it’s always nice looking at him.
That’s it for now. I’ll talk to you all real soon. One more photo from game day, and I’m out of here for now. And to those of you who haven’t written for a while, I miss you. Send me a note when you get a minute! Thanks.
