Billy Ray Cyrus will be releasing his album, “Back to Tennessee,” on April 7. Here’s the video for the first single from the album.

I really like the song. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the CD. And, for those of you who like to change your cell phone’s ringtone from time to time … there’s already a ringtone available for “Back to Tennessee’”, and you can get it by texting BRC2F to 30303. They make that so easy.

Billy Ray'In a March 25 article an article by Ted Drozdowski, Billy Ray said,  "I made this album like it was my last," insisted Billy Ray Cyrus – even though Back to Tennessee is far from his elegy.

It also says in the article, “After all, Cyrus continues to be Country’s high-profile presence in various media. The upcoming "Hannah Montana: The Movie" will mark his ninth film role. Between hosting NBC-TV’s "Nashville Star" and appearing as his daughter Miley’s dad and manager on Disney Channel’s hit Emmy-nominated series "Hannah Montana," he is one of the most recognizable men on television. His concerts are among the boldest on the big stage, blending pure Country with Southern rock ‘n’ roll.

Billy Ray 4 Then there’s his 11th album, set for release April 7. Back to Tennessee isn’t the swan song of a retiring champion, content to make one more album and then withdraw to his 500-acre farm outside of Nashville, pushing a wheelbarrow full of awards and memorabilia before him.”

You can read the full article here. And since this is Billy Ray Cyrus, and since we all remember the mullet, and since we all remember Achy Breaky Heart … Here it is! Quite a difference from “Back to Tennessee.”

Later guys, I have to get to work. I think I have my e-mail answered. Hope I didn’t miss anyone. Write whenever you get the chance!
