johnrich_v_e I’ve always liked John Rich’s music. I liked him when he was with Big & Rich, and I like his new solo CD – every song on it. Yet, I never really thought of myself as a big John Rich fan. That’s changing, rapidly. I do feel like a big John Rich fan now, and here’s just one of the many reasons.

JR FAn John Rich is offering membership to his fan club for free! And here’s what that means to you…Just for signing up, you’ll get a chance to win tickets to a show; Meet & Greet opportunities with John; Behind the scenes videos and photos; Exclusive contests to win merchandise and more; Message Board to keep in touch with other John fans; plus much, much more!!! (as the promo says). I just signed up. And you can, too – by going to this site.

John Rich is obviously one entertainer who realizes that his fans can do more with $25.00 than join a fan club. With our economy in the state it is, that money will actually go a long way in the dairy department of a grocery store, or put a few more gallons of gasoline in to the tank so mom and dad can get to work in the morning. I think it’s great that John has offered free membership into his fan club. Ok, country music world … who’s next?

We all found out last week on Jimmy Fallon’s show that John also has a funny side. Here’s a clip from the show selling low-tech products to the redneck world.

I enjoyed that, but I’m not going to leave you with it — instead, here’s another clip from Jimmy’s Thursday night show with John Rich. It’s John’s “Shutting Detroit Down.”

That’s it for this morning. Now run on over to sign up for John’s free fan club. And, I’ll talk to you all real soon. I should be able to get all my e-mail done tonight. So if you haven’t heard from me for a few days, you should before tomorrow. Write when you can.
