You guys have been hearing me talk a lot about Nick Nicholson lately. Nick is originally from Gray, Tenn., but lives in Arizona now, and has been performing mostly in the southwestern part of the U.S. He’s opened for Billy Currington, did a preshow for Carrie Underwood, opened for the Bellamy Brothers, and is now scheduled to be part of Country Thunder USA – with Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, and a host of some of today’s biggest country entertainers, in Florence, Ariz.
I told you a few days ago that Nick is releasing his debut single, “Somethin’ Somethin’” to radio stations all over the country, and just learned that he has an interview scheduled for 11:45 a.m. this morning (approximate time) on WMCT 1390 AM in Mountain City, Tenn. Nick is the featured artist today on Lacy D’s show.
Any of you who have heard “Somethin’ Somethin’” on Nick’s MySpace page or web page, but haven’t heard it on the radio yet, call your local country station and request it.
I also found out recently, that the video I had up here on March 10 (Nick Nicholson releasing “Somethin’ Somethin’ to national radio), was from KTVK Channel 3’s Good Morning Arizona program. The host in the video is Tara Hitchcock. Thanks to Joan Chanez for sending that information my direction.
Everyone in Northeast Tennessee, who is close enough to Mountain City to pick up that local radio station – have a listen to Nick’s interview. I’ll do my best to try to get in touch with Lacy D and get the video up here for you guys soon. In the meantime, here’s another look at Nick in action.
Kind of rushing this morning. Talk to you guys real soon!
