On Friday morning, April 17, 2009, Brad and Kimberly Williams-Paisley welcomed their new son into the world. The baby was due on April 5, the night of the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. And even though Brad was nominated for an armload of trophies, he decided to stay in Nashville with Kimberly instead of making the trip to the award show.
With the new arrival Friday morning, the Paisley’s now have two sons. William Huckleberry “Huck” Paisley is 2, and I’m sure he will enjoy being the big brother.
Brad is the reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist and has sold more than 10 million albums. He has 13 number one singles, and set a record with nine consecutive number 1 records. He is scheduled to begin his American Saturday Night tour on June 5, and his next Artisa Nashville Album – with the same name as the tour – will be released on June 30.
A press release said that “The healthy baby boy was born at a Nashville area hospital,… mother and baby are resting comfortably.” We haven’t heard any of the vital statistics yet – but I don’t really care how much he weighs and how long he is. They grow up so fast anyway… I just want to know his name! Are we going to get a Tom Sawyer to go along with our Huckleberry (Finn). I guess we’ll just have to wait until Mr. and Mrs. Paisley decide it’s time to let us know.
Kimberly is probably best remembered for her roles in Father of the Bride, and her regular character on the television series According to Jim. She also stared in television movies like ABC Family’s Lucky Seven.Kimberly starred in Father of the Bride and was a regular character on TV series According to Jim and TV movies like ABC Family’s Lucky Seven.
This is the cover of the January 2007 issue of Pregnancy magazine. Kimberly looked gorgeous. I wonder if they will try for a little girl two years from now.
Congratulations to the Paisley family. Happy to hear that everyone is doing well.
Time for a video, then I’m off to the zoo! Found this cool little place on the internet that isn’t much more than an hour from me, and I’d never heard of it before. It’s a little “zoo” kind of place that you drive through, and you can even feed the animals (if you want to – I don’t. I’ll just take pictures.) I’ll tell you about the little zoo thing later — now here’s Brad … and “He Didn’t Have to be”.
Talk to you all later – and if it’s sunny where you are … find a zoo or something and enjoy your Saturday!
