Let’s make this one short and to the point. I’ve got CDs to give away. Thanks to the folks at Universal Music Group, who have given me two copies of Rascal Flatts new CD to offer to you guys as contest prizes. And it’s simple. All you have to do is write and tell me you’d like to have one. All entries will be printed out, dropped into a box, and two lucky readers will be selected as the winners. Just e-mail your entry to email@example.com, and remember to include your name and mailing address so I’ll know where to have the CD sent if you’re one of the lucky winners! Deadline to enter is 12:00 (noon) Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Now, if that isn’t enough – you also can enter to win a guitar autographed by Rascal Flatts! No, I don’t have that one, but here’s who does, and how you can enter. How great would that be to add to your “country music stuff I’ve collected” display case!
Rascal Flatts have teamed up with TouchTunes to give away an autographed guitar on their pay per play digital interactive jukeboxes and on TouchTunes.com/RascalFlatts. I’m sure you have seen the TouchTunes jukeboxes at most bars and restaurants, etc where you can digitally select the songs you want to hear from the digital touch screen. You can enter right from the Jukeboxes or at www.touchtunes.com/rascalflatts.
On Sunday, April 5, I posted a little review of this great CD. The songs are “Love Who You Love,” “Here Comes Goodbye,” “Close,” “Forever,” “She’d Be California,” “Unstoppable,” “Things that Matter,” “Summer Nights,” “Holdin’ On,” “Once,” and “Why”. And they’re all great! At the time I did the review, I only had access to a short sampling of each song, but it was definitely enough to let me know how good the CD is. And since, then, I’ve had a chance to hear the songs in their entirety – and they are great!
Here’s a clip of their March visit to the Ellen show, where they sang “Everyday”. These guys are so good. I just love their music!
It’s Friday, I have to get out of here and go to work. Did I get everyone’s e-mail answered? I hope so. Because I did my best. You guys have a fantastic Friday, and I’ll talk to you soon.
