I have to agree with People magazine on this one. On their list of Country’s Hottest Men, we find Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Jack Ingram, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Keith Urban and Chuck Wicks. Now, that is not a list from the “hottest to the not as hot as the first one” … the list is in alphabetical order. The issue should hit supermarket check-out shelves today. I believe I’ll have one of those.
Since we have Brad Paisley in that list, and right out in front on the magazine’s cover photo, this seems like the perfect time to put up another cover photo of Brad. This one is on the cover of Billboard magazine. The magazine is on sale now, and has an article about Brad’s publishing company, Sea Gayle Music, which he co-owns with friends Frank Rogers and Chris DuBois.
I didn’t intend for this to be all about Brad, but since it’s leaning in that direction, let’s get a little up here about his Paisley Party Tour. He will be in Charlotte, N.C. on June 5, at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. On June 6, he moves a little farther east to Raleigh, N.C., where he has a show at Time Warner Cable Pavilion at Walnut Creek. After a few days for rest and travel, he will be at Comcast Center in Boston, Mass., on June 12, and then Hartford, Conn., on June 13. Still hanging in New England, Brad will finish out that part of the country on June 14, when he moves over to Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion in Gilford, N.H.
You can get info on all the stops on Brad’s 2009 tour here. Dates are posted through Oct. 17, when he will be in West Palm Beach, Fla., at the Cruzan Amphitheater. There are a lot of stops on this tour, and he really cover a huge geographic area! So, Brad Fans – check it our and see when he’s coming near you. I have a feeling you need to line up those tickets early.
Brad’s new album, American Saturday Night, is scheduled for release on June 30. Here’s a look at the CD cover. This is Brad’s eighth studio album. The first single from this new CD is “Then,” which Brad co-wrote with Christ DuBois and Ashley Godey. He unveiled that song during an invitation-only performance in Nashville, early in March, for the annual Country Radio Seminar.
Since we have to get a video in here, let’s take one with TWO of those Hottest Guys of Country…. Here’s Brad and Keith, and “Start A Band.”
Time for me to get out of here. You guys have a good day. Talk to you soon!
