adelphiasm With the start of the CMA Music Festival 2009 a little more than a month away, the list of performers and schedule of events are pretty much in place. And of course, the fan club party information is starting to show up on the entertainers web sites and myspace pages. Jake Owen and Jo Dee Messina are just two of the many artists planning a party for their fans this year. Be sure to visit your favorite singer’s web page, fan club page, or whatever – to find out where and when their party will be held.

Here’s a look at what you can expect to find in Nashville June 11-14.

Jason Aldean New In addition to the concerts at LP Field, there are daily concerts at Riverfront Park, which is located at the foot of Broadway on the Cumberland River. Those concerts run from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day of the festival, and feature a variety of today’s most popular country performers on a single stage with longer sets.

Luke Bryan Personal interaction is always a highlight of the event, and the Greased Lightning Hall at the Nashville Convention center is the epicenter of the fan/artist bonding experience. For most of us, there’s no such thing as a line too long, when we’re hoping to get a minute with our favorite entertainer.

The Acoustic Corner stage gives independent artists a place to showcase their talent. They always put on a great show.

The Fun Zone, located on Broadway between 1st and 2nd Avenues, is free and open to the public Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. The Fun Zone hosts an array of activities for all ages.

Located on the grounds of The Coliseum, home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, Sports Zone is an attraction for sports and music enthusiasts alike. The Zone features activities for all ages while spotlighting artist and celebrities in athletic competitions.

Be sure to go to the CMA Music Festival 2009 official web site for all the information you will need to plan a fantastic trip to this event. You can find out everything you need to know there, from information about 4-day passes, where to stay in Nashville, easy to follow links to general info, planning, video/photos/games, entertainment, etc.I have no idea what kind of tickets might still be available, but if you’re planning to attend this event next month, I wouldn’t wait any longer to get my spot reserved.

Here’s a video From Sarah Evans’ fan club party at the event back in 2007.

I need to get ready for church. You guys have a great Sunday, and I’ll talk to you all soon!
