Little Big Town is set to Ride For A Cure, to benefit the T.J. Marlell Foundation. This will be the third year the group participated in this event.
Karen Fairchild of LBT said they are thrilled to be part of this wonderful event to help raise funds for the T.J. Marlell Foundation. “Our goal is for people to attend, have some fun and feel part of this special cause that is working to find a cure for cancer.”
The T.J. Marlell Foundation is offering a special VIP ticket for $300 that includes breakfast, access to VIP areas during the ride, lunch, a gift bag, t-shirt, and performance. Rider and non-rider tickets are $35 and include the ride (if you are a rider), lunch,a t-shirt and performance. Tickets can be purchased on line by clicking here.
The ride supports cancer research at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. The T.J. Martell Foundation supports leukemia, cancer and AIDS research at six major hospitals in the U.S.
I visited their web site earlier this evening, and I love their tour calendar – it’s actually a calendar! With their shows on the corresponding dates. Very easy to read. And when you put your cursor over the event, all the information you need pops up in front of you. (It’s the simple thing in life that excite me. Guess I’m pretty easily amused.)
Is this where you get a little more Little Big Town? You betcha – so here’s A Little More You. These guys are great.
I just love that our country artists are giving more and more of their time to help raise money for causes they believe in. Here in Unicoi County, we are still working very hard to get ready for our annual Relay For Life event, which will be held June 25. You’ll be hearing more about that as the time gets closer.
I better fun along now. There’s always something to be done, isn’t there? I’ll talk to you all soon. Thanks for the mail!
