What’s better than a Keith Urban concert? How about Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean and Little Big Town in concert! They will all perform together at the Sommet Center in Nashville. The show will be a benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame. Tickets are only $25.00, and will go on sale at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2, through Ticketmaster.
The tickets are going to go fast. Lady Antebellum offered tickets to their A Team members beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday and running through 5 p.m. on Sept. 1 on their fan club site. I think it seems reasonable to expect that the other entertainers taking part in this fund raising event will do the same thing.
Keith announced the benefit during his show in Nashville on Saturday night, Aug. 29, and is planning to be at the Country Music Hall of Fame a little later today to give more details about the event.
A report in The Examiner tells us the CMA has announced that country music fans can log on to the museum Web site on Monday, to watch Keith making his special announcement at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern) via the Internet.
More and more country music entertainers are taking part in benefits. During Jerry Lewis’ annual MDA Labor Day Telethon, we’ll be seeing Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Wynonna, The Grascals, Lee Greenwood, and Neal McCoy doing their part. The telethon will are on many stations nationwide on Sept. 6-7.
Talk to you guys real soon!
