Tonight is the only night I’m likely to be awake, when Brad Paisley joins Jay Leno on his new show, at 10 p.m. on NBC. I like Jays’ new show. I’m not sure if it’s because I like Jay, or because it’s on early enough for me to see it – but whatever the reason, I’ll for sure be in front of my TV tonight when Brad joins Jay.
Tuesday night, Miranda Lambert will be on the Late Show with David Letterman. Miranda has been busy lately, with her show at the Ryman to promote her new album, Revolution. Miranda sang the entire album at the show in Nashville last week. I saw her at one of our local fairs in 2008, she really knows how to work a stage. Her album, Revolution, is set to release on Tuesday, too.
And just in case you miss tonight’s Leno show, or if you like Brad a whole lot and just want to see him twice in one week – you’ll get that chance when he shows up on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien on Wednesday, Sept. 30. And of course you have the option of just recording all of the shows and watching them as often as you want to. Now there’s a good idea!
And don’t forget about Extreme Home Makeover. Each week, the show will have a special guest volunteer who will take part in putting the new home together. That show started it’s new season last night, with Patricia Heaton as the guest. Keep an eye on the schedule, because I’m not sure which week we’ll get each guest, but I do know that Clint Black, Trace Adkins and Kellie Pickler are all scheduled to be on the show this season. I’ve always been a fan of this show, and look forward to seeing some of our country artists there again this year.
Kellie Pickler filmed her segment the end of July and beginning of August. You can click here to read the article I put up on Aug. 8 about the show.
I think I got all my e-mail caught up on Sunday night, and I have a message for Dave in England. I’m glad your move went well, and you are settled in your new home. I tried to answer your e-mail, but it was returned as undeliverable. Just wanted you to know that I did try to write, and I hope you will write to me again soon. Maybe next time I’ll be able to write back.
To the rest of you, thanks for letting me do that. Dave is a long-time reader, and I have no idea why I could not write back to him – but I really wanted him to know I tried.
I better get moving now. More later! You guys enjoy your Monday!
