They’re calling it the Shine All Night Tour. And I have no doubt these two are going to shine big time. Martina McBride and Trace Adkins, two of my favorite country artists, will be heading out to 40 cities all across the U.S. The tour will start on Nov. 20, they end up in the spring of 2010.
Martina and Trace will play most of the shows, and in a few locations Martina will be joined by Blake Shelton and The Lost Trailers. I got to see the Lost Trailers this past summer, and I know what a great show they put on. I’ve seen Trace three times before, I’ve seen Blake twice before, and I know that Martina has picked herself a great bunch of touring partners.
"I want fans to leave here knowing they got more than their money’s worth," says Martina. "My goal is to have this on their list of memorable nights for years to come”. “I think this tour is going to give people a lot more bang for their buck," says Adkins. "And that’s important –especially in today’s economy."
The tour will kick on on Friday, Nov. 20 in Moline, Ill. Blake Shelton will be with Martina on that one. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct. 16. Just looking through the list, it looks like Greensboro, N.C., on Dec. 10, will be the closest that this tour gets to me, with tickets going on sale for that one on Oct. 30. I have a little time to think about it. I have no doubt it’s going to be a fantastic show. You can get all the dates for this tour by clicking here.
Martina, Trace and Blake all have songs in the top 25 right now, and The Lost Trailers have never done anything I haven’t liked, so this is going to be a fantastic tour for everyone involved. I know the fans will be more than ready to head out and see these shows.
Here’s a cute little clip from YouTube that shows the competitive side of these two entertainers. I do believe Trace has the upper hand though, especially when height comes into play. He is definitely a tall one.
Head on over to that tour schedule, and find the place closest to you. You will want to be ready when tickets go on sale for the show closest to you!
That’ll do it for now. I’m off to work. Talk to you guys soon! Have a great Wednesday, and write when you get a chance.
