Sugarland has “Green and Gold,” Jeff Cook has “Christmas Joy,” Faith Hill gave us “Joy to the World,” last Christmas, and of course Lee Greenwood’s “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” is still the favorite for many fans. Now we can Add Sara Evans to that list, as she gets ready to release her new Christmas EP, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” on Nov. 3.
The new EP will include several Chrsitmas Classics, such as the title track, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “and “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” and will also have an original song that Sara cowrote with Brad Paisley called “New Again”.
The news on Sara’s web site says “The arrival of I’ll Be Home for Christmas marks the first time these four tracks (previously available on selected various artist projects) have been brought together in one collection”.
Sara will start a Celebrate the Season Tour on Nov. 27 in Worley, Idaho. The tour will run through Dec. 14, with a show in Greeley, Colo., and in between she will be in Snoqualmie, Wash., Boise, Idaho, Modesto, Temecula, Coarsegold and Eureka, Calif., Mesa and Tucson, Ariz., and Primm and West Wendover, Nev. You can get the exact dates and places here.
“Each show will ring in the holidays and give concertgoers everything they’ve come to love about Sara, with one set of music focused on songs of the season, while a second set will spotlight some of her biggest hits,” it says on her site.
There is a great biography on her website, too. I always enjoy reading about our entertainers. And her bio gives you a lot of information about this very talented country artist.
Here’s a Good Morning America interview with Sara. It’s a good interview, and even has a brief clip of her wedding. Hope you enjoy it, too.
That’s all for now – have a great Sunday! Talk to you soon! Remember to drop me an e-mail whenever you have time, and don’t forget you can now follow Country’s Chatter on Twitter and Facebook!
