CC10 release

I told you a while back that Country Concert 2010 in Fort Loramie, Ohio, would have Keith Urban headlining the Saturday night show, and Brooks and Dunn. Now they’ve added a few more great artists to help get us ready for the big event, July 8, 9 and 10, 2010.

This annual event always has the best country music has to offer – and it looks like 2010 will be a little more of that tradition.I am sure I’m not the only Gary Allan fan out there – I might not even be the biggest Gary Allan fan … but I sure do like him. Gary will take the stage on Thursday, July 8, at 8 p.m. For those of you who need a title or two to match the artist with the songs … Gary gave us his current hit, “Today”, “Watching Airplanes,” and “Nothing On But the Radio,” just to mention a few.

BillyC Billy Currington, the Friday, July 9, 8 p.m. performer, put out what I think is the best country song of 2009 – and that is “People are Crazy.” Billy hasn’t done anything I really don’t like, but I think “People are Crazy” will always be my personal favorite from him.

Trace2 You can catch Trace Adkins on the stage on Friday, July 9, at 10 p.m. I think Trace is one of the most talented country entertainers, and yet – he seems to get very little recognition. I had the pleasure of seeing Trace in concert three times – and if he gets close to this area again, I’m there. He puts on a great show – and I will ever get tired of hearing songs like “Every Light in the House is On,” and “No Thinking Thing."

jo dee Get ready for Jo Dee Messina on Saturday, July 10, at 8 p.m. Remembered mostly for “Bye, Bye,” and “I’m Alright,” Jo Dee is another performer who puts on a very energetic show. She’s fun to watch – and you can’t really help but sing along!

JustinMoore2 Justin Moore, who was recently named Billboard’s Top New Artist for 2009, will be taking the stage on Saturday, July 10, at 2 p.m. I love this kid. I think he’s going to be around for a very long time.

And, the last entertainer recently added to the list of Country Concert performers for this summer is one of my very, very favorite people – Joe Diffie. And my favorite Joe Diffie song … “Ships that Don’t Come In”. I also like “A Night to Remember,” “If the Devil Danced In Empty Pockets,” “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox",” and “Tougher Than Nails.” And that’s probably not all the my favorites … I really like Joe Diffie. (Bet you’d never have guessed that).

Joe Diffie 2 That’s the latest added to the lineup – keep up with all the additions at Country Concert 2010’s web site. You can also find out about show tickets, camping, and just about everything else you need to plan your three days at this fantastic event! And of course, I’ll put more up here when I get it, too.

Here’s a clip from last year’s Country Concert – just to give you a little idea of what goes on there. Definitely something for every country  music fan at this event.

It’s Friday – the best work day of the week for me – and for most of us I would guess. And,  I’m counting the days till Christmas! I think I finished my mail last night, so if you get a minute – take a break from your holiday shopping, and drop me a line!
More later,
Country
