We’re three days into the new year, but I’m not quite ready to put the celebrating away. I have two YouTube videos to share with you this morning. The first is New Year’s Eve in Nashville.
I’m one of those people who has waited up most of my life to watch the little ball drop on television, from New York City. I never really wanted to go there and be a part of it – and this year, I didn’t even stay up. I was sleepy.
But when I saw this video, it is the first time I ever watched any New Year’s Eve celebration on television and thought — I’d like to go there! So here is it, Music City ringing in the New Year – as only they can!
The second video, also New Year-related, is Lady Antebellum singing the National Anthem at this year’s Sugar Bowl. What a great job. That is not an easy song to sing (as we’ve noticed with other celebrities making the attempt in the past), but these guys did a fantastic job! Thanks YouTube!
We’ve got more snow in northeast Tennessee! I shouldn’t be surprised … it was a few months back when people were talking about this winter being a bad one. I guess I hoped they were wrong. But I don’t think I have to go anywhere today – I can just sit home, and look out at it. That part is good. Wherever you are – I hope you enjoy your Sunday! And if it’s snowing, I hope you can stay in and look out at it, too. Drop me an e-mail when you get a chance!
Talk to you later!
