Back on Dec. 18, 2009, I put up the second mention of Country Concert 2010 – with the list of entertainers announced to that point. If you missed that post, you can go back and read that list here.
Today I got an e-mail about three more entertainers that have been added to this year’s three-day even in Fort Loramie, Ohio. Randy Houser, the Bellamy Brothers and Steel Magnolia will join this year’s festival.
Randy will be on stage on Saturday, July 10, at 6 p.m. I’m pretty sure all country music fans know Randy for his songs “Boots On,” “Anything Goes,” and “Whistlin’ Dixie.” I’ve seen Randy on stage enough times to know that he’s a great performer, and a really awesome vocalist. I knew that about him the very first time I saw him, when he was doing a radio station tour to promote his first single, “Anything Goes.” More recently, he did this year’s CMT Tour with Jamey Johnson.
The Bellamy Brothers show will also be on Saturday, July 10, when they take the stage at noon. You probably remember them for songs like “Old Hippie,” “Redneck Girl,” and “If I Said you had a Beautiful Body.” I’ve never seen these guys live, and I would like to – maybe in July.
Steel Magnolia will be there on Thursday, July 6, at 6 p.m. These two were this year’s winners of CMT’s Can You Duet, and their single is “Keep On Lovin’ You.” This duo is made up of Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones.
Check out the Early Bird ticket prices, good trough Feb. 15, on Country Concert 2010 web site. And of course you can get all the information there that you need about camping, reserved seats, stage front seats, and even 2-day tickets.
You guys have a great weekend. Talk to you soon!
