One of the highlights of CMA Music Festival is that a lot of our favorite artists have fan club parties, or picnics, or mini-concerts and meet and greets for their fans. The first one I heard about so far this year is being held by the Carter Twins, who I got to spend some time with back on Feb. 9. They were part of that great CMIL benefit show at The Rutledge, to raise money for City of Hope. These guys sound every bit as good live as they do on their records. I really enjoyed watching them.
Ok, we all know I like the Carter Twins, but this isn’t about their vocals, or their music, or anything else like that … it’s about The Carter Twins CMA Fest Party! So here are the details you guys will need.
The party will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Riverfront Tavern, 101 Church St., Nashville. It is for all ages, and the doors will open at 7:30 a.m. The event includes breakfast and a limited edition gift. Zac and Josh will also perform an acoustic set, have a question and answer session with their fans, and a meet and greet.
The cost for this event is $30, and no tickets will be sent in the mail. When you order, your name will be placed on a list. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that you need to bring with you when you attend the event.
If you have any questions about the Carter Twins party, just shoot an e-mail out to them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope you all have a great Saturday – we have got sun and 50 degrees here in Northeast Tennessee! Quite a change from the cold, snowy weather we have been having. I should find somewhere to go!
Talk to you all real soon,
