Brad Paisley’s American Saturday Night tour came to an end in Charleston, S.C. on Saturday night. And it didn’t exactly end gracefully for Brad. Brad closed out the show with an encore performance of “Alcohol,” and during his short guitar solo at the end of the song, he ran from the ramp, back onto the stage, and stumbled falling face first onto the stage.
He did jump back up and finish the last few seconds of the show, before he was taken to the emergency room to get checked out. Brad took to his Twitter a short time after, to let everyone know that he was ok. The pictures with medical personnel were posted on Brad’s Twitter for all his fans and followers.
Brad had said on Twitter, that he thought he had broken a few ribs. But after being examined by the doctors, he was told he was just badly bruised. Brad also promised a “Meet and Greet” with whoever posted a video of the fall on YouTube. He said he knew he hit hard, and he wanted to see the fall tape. Of course every fan in the audience that night was ready to help him out.
Allright, whoever posts the YouTube footage of it gets a meet and greet. I have got to see it. I hit hard. And I mean freaking hard.
If ur wondering,it was the last song&last night of the tour&I was running fast on stage, tripped.really did think I broke a rib or something.
Charleston rocked though. Out with a bang for the ASN tour.literally. Bring on the H2O. Actually, the frozen stuff’s on me right now.
We’re very glad that Brad is doing ok after his trip. Maybe he’ll get to take just a little time off before we see him on stage again.
If you haven’t already see the video of Brad’s fall in Charleston, or if you just want to have another look – here it is. From what I’m looking at, I’d say he could have been seriously hurt. Very glad to hear he was released from the hospital Sunday morning.
It’s Monday again. Hope you all have a great week. Write when you have time, and remember to enter the contests we have running now.
