Matt Gary, one of country music’s hardest working up-and-comer’s, has added industry heavy hitters New Revolution Entertainment and The Meade Group, Inc. to his team. In calculated preparation of his sophomore radio release and self-titled CD debut, Gary has enlisted the crème de la crème of radio promotions, marketing and management. New Revolution Entertainment will spearhead the major market radio promotion campaign surrounding Gary’s new single “I’m Just Sayin,’”* written by Frank Myers, Gary B. Baker and Billy Montana, and produced by Myers. Mike Meade (The Meade Group, Inc.) will join the team as an independent consultant overseeing day-to-day operations, marketing, sponsorship and touring opportunities.
“We’re excited to get the next single out there and I am supremely confident in this team,” Matt Gary explained. “Rob Dalton [and his staff] is a music industry powerhouse in his own right and has worked with some of country music’s biggest hit-makers. Mike Meade’s work ethic has made him a respected staple in the business. I could not have a better group of people behind this song. I’m just sayin’!”
New Revolution Entertainment, LLC was created in 2006 by Rob Dalton and Jeff Solima as a full-service radio promotion and artist development company; combined, the two music executives have more than 700 Top Ten singles to their credit. In keeping with its mission at inception, New Revolution’s objective is to garner “major label” success for their clients with or without a major label machine behind them.
In the past four years, New Revolution has worked with award-winning artists to achieve noteworthy chart status including Martina McBride (“I Just Call You Mine”/Top 15), Zac Brown Band (“Chicken Fried”/#1), Gloriana (“Wild At Heart”/Top 10), Lee Brice (“Love Like Crazy”/Top 20 and climbing), Colt Ford (whose CHICKEN AND BISCUITS CD has enjoyed sales of over 30,000 in the last three weeks), Emerson Drive (“Moments”/#1), Darryl Worley (“Sounds Like Life”/Top 10), Jerrod Nieman, Travis Tritt, Randy Owen, Tracy Byrd, Matt Kennon, Bill Gentry, Ward Davis and more.
"We are really excited to partner with Matt Gary and 17 Music Entertainment. If it is truly about the music and the artist, then Matt will have a very bright future," said Dalton. "Frank Myers produced a jeweled collection of songs. Combined with Matt’s solid vocal performance, incredible live show and a work ethic second to none–success is right around the corner. The first single, from the project, ‘I’m Just Sayin” immediately hooks the listener, both melodically and vocally. It should play very well at country radio."
"Matt has a bright future as a young artist and young business professional," Meade added. "He’s talented, hardworking and has a good head on his shoulders–a combination that will make him a contender in this business."
A 15-year music industry executive, Mike Meade has held positions at Buddy Lee Attractions, New Frontier Touring and Rocky Comfort Records/TLE Entertainment (Tracy Lawrence Entertainment). The Meade Group Inc. specializes in marketing and operations in various industries including entertainment, equine and the corporate sector (Purina Mills).
Named "Who New To Watch" by CMA Close–up Magazine in 2009, Matt Gary made his introduction to country fans with his single and corresponding music video “The Days You Live For" in April 2009 from his own independent label, 17 Music Entertainment. Gary has also been recognized with the “DISCovery Award” (Robert K. Oermann/Music Row Magazine). In the past year, Matt has graced the pages of Country Weekly’s "Listen Up!" and "Who’s New" and was featured in Nashville Lifestyles’ “Single in the City.” Gary is preparing to release his self-titled album (produced by Frank Myers) in early fall and delivers his follow-up single, “I’m Just Sayin’,” to radio in August. A nationwide radio promotion tour is planned to begin in late June.
The heightened executive staff behind Matt Gary and his music comes on the heels of Gary’s inking an endorsement deal with PING Apparel (CBS Custom Branded Sports Wear) and continues the momentum generated by Bernard Porter of PCG-Nashville who has been the pillar and directive behind Matt Gary’s success since his entering the scene in January 2009. Porter remains hands-on in all aspects of Gary’s career.
