Tracy Lawrence 1 Just one day after Tracy Lawrence issued an alert that his dog was missing from his pickup truck, that was parked in the Walgreen parking lot, the dog is now reportedly back at home with Tracy and his family.

tracy-tank A press release sent out on June 16 said Tracy had issued an alert asking local residents, law enforcement officials, and the media for assistance in the search of his dog. A $500 reward was being offered for the dog’s return.

Tank, a 2 year-old, English bulldog, was removed from Lawrence’s truck last evening at approximately 8:30PM while Lawrence made a quick stop at a local Walgreens.  The truck was parked in the Walgreens parking lot located on Mt. Juliet and Lebanon Road.  Having just been bathed, Tank, regrettably was not wearing his collar or identification.

"Tank, was my Father’s Day present two years ago," Lawrence said.  "He’s not only a member of our family but a part of our road crew. We’d sure like to have him back home with us and appreciate your help."

Tank is now back home. A report over at The Boot said the dog was discovered near Route 109 in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., which is “quite a distance from the drug store parking lot where he was last seen.” No one know sif the dog was taken, or if he just jumped out of the truck, but he is happily back home now.

I saw Tracy a few years ago. He put on a great show. I would really like to see the tour he’s on right now. He is touring with Mark Chestnut and Richie McDonald, as part of the Country Rat Pack tour. The Country Rat Pack show will be in Columbus, Ga., on July 15, and then finish up in Webster, Mass., on Aug. 15. To check out the rest of the shows on Tracy’s schedule, click here.

Have you all heard “Up To Him,” the single form Tracy’s new album “The Rock”? It is really a great song. It’s on the album with “Somebody Who Would Die For You,” another great Tracy Lawrence song.

I better get myself moving here. You guys have a great Friday. I’ll talk to you soon! And please drop me a line when you have a minute.
