Keith 111 Most of you know that I am a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society. I have been active in the Relay For Life for many years, and helped organize a concert, with Randy Houser and Matt Stillwell, to raise money for our Relay last year.

Now, the American Cancer Society has gotten a little help from Keith Urban, too. Most of us have seen the ads for the American Cancer Society’s “More Birthdays” campaign on television. Now, we have Keith singing Happy Birthday, after his opening line “Here’s to a world with more birthdays.”

Keith, who celebrates his birthday on Oct. 26, is one of many artists who has joined the campaign to help the American Cancer Society bring more birthdays to the world.

In addition to hearing Keith sing Happy Birthday, the page on the ACS birthday site  (morebirthdays.com) gives you a place to create a birthday card, send the video to a friend, share your personal cancer story, join the movement to have more birthdays, and even tell what “more birthdays” means to you. They’ve even started a More Birthdays Blog.

I know a lot of you are involved with the Relay For Live in your neighborhood, and many of you have told me about the work you do for the American Cancer Society. I’m sure you will enjoy looking at the more birthdays web site, and of course listening to Keith Urban.

I will talk to you all soon!
