Taylor cover As most Taylor Swift fans know, she has a new album on the way. “Speak Now” will be released on October 25, 2010.

And as part of Taylor’s promotion of the new album, she’s visiting radio stations to talk about her new CD.

Wednesday, Oct. 13, Taylor stopped in at WXBQ radio, Bristol, Va., and visited with Reggie Neel (who does the 10 am.-3 p.m. show weekdays), and Bill Hagy, the station’s program director.

WXBQ Taylor Joyce, who works in the front office, also took time out for a picture with Taylor, as did morning host Richard Quillen, pictured with his daughter Casey.

I’m not sure what Taylor is going to have on this album, but I know it’s going to have a lot of expectations to live up to. Her “Fearless” CD was a huge success, and I have no reason to suspect this one will be any different.

WXBQ Taylor 3 Taylor said that many of the songs on the new CD mean something very personal to her. She said that the songs include words that she never said when the time was right in front of her.  Swift refers to these songs as “open letters.” {Source}

"I wrote all the songs myself for this record," Taylor told fans in a web chat last month. "It didn’t really happen on purpose. It just sort of happened that way. I’d get my best ideas at 3:00 AM in Arkansas, and didn’t have a co-writer around and I’d just finish it. And that would happen again in New York; that would happen again in Boston; that would happen again in Nashville. The songs that made the cut for the albums are the ones that I wrote by myself so – wish me luck!" {Source}

WXBQ Taylor 2 Anyone who lives in Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina is familiar with WXBQ. It is one of the top rated country stations in the nation. And, thanks to ‘streaming’, people all over the world can listen to WXBQ by going to their web site and clicking on “listen live.”. You’ll enjoy looking at their web site, too.

That’s all for this morning. I have to head to work. I hope you have a great Friday. Talk to you all soon!
