I was very happy with what I saw on the CMA award show Wednesday night, Nov. 10, 2010. The show flowed. It seemed very well planned out, and it just moved right along from one thing to the next. And the sound was probably the best I’ve heard come from that live telecast in a very long time. It was a joy to watch
Here are your winners, and a few pictures from the year’s event.

I think the only one of those I would change if I could would be Best New Artist. I love Zac Brown Band. I‘ve seen them live, they put on an awesome show. And I really like their music. However, I do not consider them ‘new artists.’ Haven’t Zac and the band been around for a long time? Don’t they have something like six top ten songs (and more than a few number 1 records). How can you have all that, and be nominated for Entertainer of the Year, and still be selected Best NEW Artist.
That, however, the only category that I would have selected a different winner. And, I would have had a hard time picking, too. Luke Bryan and Chris Young would have had me at the place where the only way to decide would have been to flip a coin. I love them both, have seen both more than once, and really think the award should have gone to either one of them.
