KISS 1

I didn’t make it to the Guitar Jam at the Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C., this year. But the older I get, the more I beginning to understand that it is just not possible to be everywhere. But thanks to the folks at Kiss FM, we’ve got some pictures to share with you. You can see all of the pictures from this year’s event on their web site.

KISS1 Look what I missed out on! There’s my buddy Randy Houser, along with Rodney Adkins, Jerrod Neiman, and Joe Nichols – all who I’ve seen in concert and had the pleasure of meeting in the past. In fact, I’ll be seeing Joe Nichols tomorrow night in Bristol. Julianne Hough and Gretchen Wilson rounded out the list of great entertainers for this year’s show. (The girl in red in the photo at the right, is one of my friends, Kim, from Virginia)

This was the sixth year for the event, an annual fundraiser which supports Children’s Mission Hospital in Asheville.

I can’t even imagine what a great night this was – with these six country artists taking the stage. Since I wasn’t there, and I don’t have a lot to say about the show itself, let me just thank KISS FM in Asheville for hosting this great event again this year, and get a few of their pictures up for all of you to enjoy. And remember, you can go to their web site to view hundreds more from Tuesday’s show.

Thanks again to Kiss 99.9 FM in Asheville, N.C., and to the folks at the Orange Peel for helping with this event every year. Sorry I couldn’t make it this year, but hopefully I’ll be right there with you guys in 2011.

I will talk to you all soon! I’ve got Joe Nichols tomorrow night, and the Santa Train, with Wynonna and Naomi Judd this weekend! Love riding that train! You guys enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! And write!

More later!
