On July 27, 2010, I put up a post about Julianne Hough’s new video, “Is That So Wrong”. That was nearly five months ago. So I was really surprised yesterday to find out that thousands of people were visiting my web site because they were searching for that particular video.
I know the song has been banned from CMT. There are articles everywhere about that. But I think people who have never seen the video want to see the video now. The folks over at Bitten& Bound put the video on their site yesterday, so I wanted to pass that link on to all of you. If you have never seen it (or just want to see it again), click here. And after you watch, please let me know what you think of it. We all know it was banned from CMT, but do you think it should have been?
You will also want to ready this article at The Washington Post. Here’s a few paragraphs from that article, but I hope you will go read the rest. I enjoy reading things by people who really know how to write. And obviously Emily Yahr, the journalist who did this article, does.
“The best part? Any possible controversy is just a cute anecdote to share, as she did during the "Acoustic Christmas Concert" presented by Baltimore’s WPOC radio Friday night.
"This next song – funny story," she said by way of introducing her new single, "Is That So Wrong," in the middle of her 30-minute set at Cancun Cantina in Hanover. "I shot a music video for it . . . and [Country Music Television] kind of banned it."
Giggling, Hough shook her head and showed off her megawatt smile to the crowd of about 100 packed on the dance floor. "Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom." She paused to let this sink in. "But I don’t know – I kind of liked it." [Source]
Hope you all enjoy your Saturday. I’m off – into the busy world of Holiday shoppers!
Talk to you all soon!
