Craig Campbell CD I have a press release for you all this morning. It’s about someone relatively new to country music, at least new to me. I would imagine a lot of us first got to know Craig because of his current hit, “Family Man.” It’s on the radio all the time here, and the video for it is really good. That one song made me a Craig Campbell fan.

With that said… Here’s the press release.

Bigger Picture Group is excited to announce the upcoming March 1 release date for Craig Campbell’s self-titled debut album.

Produced by Keith Stegall (Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson), Craig Campbell’s debut record blend’s the singer’s masculine, no-nonsense baritone vocal with solid, salt-of-the-earth songs about America’s working class and a classic sense of wordplay. Campbell and Stegall’s combined talents have delivered an unapologetically country album that builds upon the singer’s many musical influences – including Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Clint Black and Travis Tritt– while at the same time distinctly defining Campbell’s unique sound and musical perspective.

Craig Campbell “Before moving to Nashville I would read CD booklets to see who wrote the songs, who played on the records and who produced the tracks,” explains Campbell. “Keith Stegall’s name would consistently show up as Producer on all my favorite music, so getting to work with Keith, let alone releasing my debut record, is a dream come true!”

Craig Campbell co-wrote nine of the eleven songs on his debut record. The project’s lead-single, the autobiographical anthem “Family Man is quickly climbing the charts, already at #24 Mediabase / #25 Billboard.

Craig Campbell 2 ABOUT CRAIG CAMPBELL: After moving from his hometown of Lyons, Georgia to Nashville in 2002 to pursue his country music dreams, Craig Campbell quickly picked up work as a keyboardist in Luke Bryan and Tracy Byrd’s bands and was later discovered playing a regular gig at legendary Nashville honkytonk, The Stage. Campbell’s debut single, “Family Man,” is climbing the country radio charts. The song can be found on his debut digital EP, Five Spot, available now at all digital music outlets. “Family Man” will also be included on his upcoming debut album, releasing March 1. I haven’t had a chance to listen to much of Craig’s music yet. But I’m looking forward to adding this CD to my collection. I like what I’ve heard form Craig so far – and I’m sure that I will like the music he has on his debut CD.

Time for me to run. Hope you all have a very good Tuesday!
More later!
