Bus Fire 2I’ve written so much about Randy Houser. That’s because I’ve been a huge fan of his since I first heard him sing. I’ve seen him many times, and I love his music. Fortunately, this is the first time I’ve had to write anything like this about Randy – and I hope it will be the last time. Randy sent the picture above via Twitter a few hours ago.

Houser Stillwell 223This afternoon (Wednesday, March 9, 2011), Randy and his band lost their equipment, clothes, everything, when their bus caught on fire. The show, however must go on, and Randy is performing tonight in Isle of the Palms, S.C., along side of Sunny Sweeney, Frankie Ballard, and several others. The show is a benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Bus FireAccording to news reports, nobody was hurt in the fire which apparently began in the rear suite of the bus and caused smoke to infiltrate the corridor and main cabin.

Randy sent a note to his manager that read: "Fire is out. Lost all my clothes. I’m pretty sad, but so thankful we all got off safely. That fire burned all through our home on wheels."

In a note Randy sent to his manager, he wrote:  "Fire is out. Lost all my clothes. I’m pretty sad, but so thankful we all got off safely. That fire burned all through our home on wheels."

I’m sure everyone hated to hear about this – but we can be thankful no one was hurt.

More later!
