I had the pleasure of seeing and meeting the group Stealing Angels, on March 1 in Nashville. These girls are a real pleasure to watch! Energetic kids, great vocals, and very awesome harmonies. They’re great performers, who I’ve been following for quite a while now. I first put an article up about them back in January of 2010, called “Beautiful and Talented – Meet Staling Angels”. If you missed that article, you can read it by clicking here. The photos in that article were all sent to me by a twitter friend, Tommy. An article called “Spend some rehearsal time with Stealing Angels’, which I put up in February 2010, that includes a number of videos, can be seen by clicking here.
Yesterday I received a press release about “Paper Heart,” the new single by Stealing Angels that has just released to country radio. The press release, and photo that came with it FOLLOW:
Skyville Records is excited to announce that “Paper Heart,” the new single release from dynamic trio Stealing Angels, is releasing to Country Radio today. The song was just delivered to programmers via PlayMPE and officially goes for adds on April 18th.
Produced by Paul Worley (Lady Antebellum, Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride) and written by Gordie Sampson, Hillary Lindsey, and Steve McEwan, “Paper Heart” is a poignant song that examines the vulnerability of the heart in love.
ABOUT STEALING ANGELS:Caroline Cutbirth, Jennifer Wayne, and Tayla Lynn are STEALING ANGELS. In case any of their last names sound familiar…they should! These young women are descended from American icons, including country great Loretta Lynn, film legend John Wayne and American folk hero Daniel Boone. But it is their music, not their background that promises to make their names as well known as their famous families. The debut album from Stealing Angels, featuring “Paper Heart,” is expected to release this fall. To learn more about Stealing Angels, visit their web site, and follow them on twitter @StealingAngels.
I hope you’ll visit their web site, listen to ‘Paper Heart” and call your favorite radio station to request Check back to previous articles I put up about them, and get to know them. I’m hoping to see them again sometime soon. Can’t tell them how much I appreciated their willingness to spend a few minutes with me after their March 1 show. It was a pleasure meeting them. And, it is definitely fun watching them! Hope they get out my direction soon!
