He took on the task of executive producing their critically-acclaimed debut album and subsequently launched Beladroit Records (imprint of Universal Republic) to help it be heard around the world. Yet, one of the most remarkable experiences the duo credits to him was his invitation to share the stage with Elvis Costello and Jakob Dylan as part of a special showcase. On March 26 and 27, viewers can tune in to watch the celebrated concert as part of a special on Great American Country (GAC), The Secret Sisters: Live in Concert on GAC (presented by T Bone Burnett). Lydia Rogers added, "Our sincere thanks go out to T Bone–not only has he helped us grow musically, but he has also provided us with loads of advice about how to maintain our artistic integrity in a world that is pulling us in a million different directions. We’re humbled and privileged to call him a friend."

Viewers are invited to tune in to see Laura and Lydia Rogers (The Secret Sisters), Costello and Dylan recreate classic country music with their own originals as well as a few covers from their favorite artists like Hank Williams, Buck Owens, Bill Monroe and Johnny Cash.

About The Secret Sisters

Real-life siblings Laura and Lydia Rogers of Muscle Shoals, AL make up the 1950’s-inspired classic country duo known as The Secret Sisters. After a shot-in-the-dark audition in Nashville that left judges in awe, the girls were signed to a record deal with Universal Republic/Beladroit and released their debut self-titled album (produced by T Bone Burnett and Dave Cobb) in the U.S. on Oct. 12, 2010. Since, they have received tremendous accolades for their flawless harmonies and authentic country music nostalgia. They have toured with legendary acts Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn; as well as newly popular acts Ray LaMontagne and Amos Lee– and will soon commence dates with Brandi Carlile. Moreover, they collaborated with Jack White for his 7" series released on Third Man Records and are featured on Ray LaMontagne and The Pariah Dogs’ new E.P., Live Fall 2010, in track #3 "You Can Bring Me Flowers" which is available now on iTunes. Their latest single is "Tennessee Me" (a follow-up to their catchy debut "I’ve Got A Feeling") and they will commence a second international tour this Summer after celebrating a #1 Country Albums Chart debut on iTunes in the U.K. in February.

Have a great Saturday!
