Last Wednesday night, Ashton Shepherd took her talent to Steel Creek Park in Bristol, Tenn., to do a free show for the fans. WXBQ was on hand, along with the WXBQ Rabbit. Unfortunately I wasn’t part of that audience.
You can check out Ashton’s show schedule and tour map on her web site. Looks like she’s heading to Georgia, Ohio and Wisconsin in the very near future. Her single “Look It Up” continues to climb the country charts.
Sorry I missed her show, but unfortunately I can only get to so many things in one week, and my schedule was packed full last week. I can’t tell you all how much I appreciate the photos contributed by readers, and by friends like Amanda. That definitely makes all of this a lot easier for me.
I will talk to you soon. Hope you will all drop me a line when you get a few minutes. I love hearing from each of you. And remember, too – when you get to a s how I didn’t get to, I’m more than happy to share them with everyone here.
Keep checking back too, for information on this year’s entertainment at some of our local fairs. Things are starting to shape up for Washington County Fair in Abingdon, Va., as well as for our Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn., in August.
