Back on March 21, 2011 – I put up an article about Rascal Flatts 2011 Summer Tour, “Flatts Fest.” The time has arrived, and  “Flatts Fest” is underway – kicking off  on June 18th in Bristow, Virginia. Opening acts for the tour are Sara Evans, Easton Corbin and Justin Moore. The tour is currently scheduled to run through September with approximately 24 shows.

Two of those three openers will be part of our local fairs in August. Easton Corbin will be at the Greene County Fair in Greeneville, Tenn., and Justin Moore will be on the main stage at our Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn. I’ve seen Easton before, and know he is going to put on a great show opening up for Rascal Flatts. I’ve never seen Justin, but I’m a fan, and definitely looking forward to seeing his show later this summer.

RF1Here’s a bit of what you can expect to find when you attend one of the shows this summer.  The “Flatts Fest” tour will include a new stage production design and set list with a high-energy stage show Rascal Flatts fans have come to expect. The tour will also include an interactive pre-show festival atmosphere and tailgating experience, with activities spread throughout the plaza and parking areas for all fans who want to make a whole afternoon/evening of the show. Plans include a mobile karaoke vehicle, carnival games, photo booths, putt putt golf, food vendors, and plenty of exciting contests. [Source]
