Jerry LewisWe’re getting close to the annual MDA Telethon, which airs on many major television station in the country, and has for as long as I an remember. It’s one of those shows I used to watch for hours when I was growing up – paying more attention to what celebrities I would be seeing, and what kind of entertainment would be coming up next than I was to the real reason for the show. But host Jerry Lewis has done a remarkable job raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association with this telethon each year.

While Jerry  has drifted into the background a little over the past few years, making an appearance at the beginning of the show, and again at the end, the show continues to be both a great source of entertainment, and a major fundraising opportunity for the MDA.
