Three-time ACM nominee Lee Brice released his debut album Love Like Crazy on Curb Records in June of 2010. The title track off of the album, “Love Like Crazy,” reached the top five on the charts and was named Billboard’s #1 country song of 2010. It currently holds the record for the longest charting song in the history of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The song was nominated for the 2011 CMT Music Awards’ USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year award. Brice is also known for his songwriting, penning hits for many great artists including Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw. Brice recently wrapped up Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown Tour and is now gearing up to hit the road this fall alongside Josh Thompson and Luke Bryan on the 2011 CMT On Tour. Columbia Nashville recording artist Josh Thompson stormed onto the country music scene with his debut album Way Out Here – debuting in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and earning praise from countless critics, including NPR’s Fresh Air, Billboard and PEOPLE. Thompson wrote or co-wrote all 10 tracks on the album including hits “Won’t Be Lonely Long,” “Way Out Here” and “Beer On The Table.” The blue-collar road warrior played over 240 shows last year ranging from headlining club dates to sold-out arenas with Brad Paisley. He is currently working on his sophomore album, due out next year. For additional Josh Thompson information go to his web site by clicking here.
This is going to be a great show. If it is part of your plans for ‘shows to see in 2011’ – you will want to get your tickets early.
That’s it for this morning – more later!
