We are going to be seeing Colt Ford in a few weeks at our Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn. Colt was on stage at the fair last year, too. I have to admit I was very surprised at the huge crowd that came to see him. But after seeing his live show, I understood why. It wasn’t just Colt doing what he does, it was the entire band – a really great band – taking part in the show. I will definitely be going back this year.
I got a little press release and photo about Colt and Jake Owen killing time during a rain storm recently. It involved a ‘creepy horse mask’. Wonder if we’ll be seeing that mask at the fair. Here’s the release and photo.
What happens when you mix Colt Ford, Jake Owen, a creepy horse mask and a lot of downtime at a rainy, muddy country music festival? Well, the picture describes it all! Colt had a little fun stealing Jake’s beloved creepy horse mask at the Big O Music Fest in Owensboro, KY over the weekend and announced their acquisition in the middle of Jake’s meet and greet. Jake quickly noticed and had a photo posted on Twitter before the meet and greet was over! Just another day on the road with Mr. Goodtime.
Colt is on the road in support of his current single, "She Likes to Ride in Trucks." To see if Colt Ford is coming to a city near you visit his web site. You can keep up with Colt on twitter, too – @coltford.
Gotta run! Talk to you all soon! Have an awesome Wednesday.
