We all know that Keith Urban was in Knoxville on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011. And most of us know that he was there to put on a concert, that I didn’t go to. But I did put some pictures up a few days ago – thanks to friends of mine that were there.
I recently found out that Keith had something else to do while he was in town. While Keith was here, he also dedicated a new Habitat for Humanity House, and gave the keys to the new homeowner, Regina Olum.
Here’s a video from the Knoxville News Sentinel’s knoxnews.com.
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, The house is part of "Music Row", a Knoxville Habitat for Humanity initiative inspired and funded by the Charlie and Moll Anderson Family Foundation. Urban gave a concert at the Anderson’s home last year to raise funds to support Knoxville Habitat for Humanity. The house will be known as the Keith Urban House. [Source]
Have a great Thursday! More later!
