Sugarland was scheduled to go on stage at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, on Saturday night. But that show didn’t happen. . As many of you have already heard, the stage collapsed before the duo set foot on it to entertain the large crowd. I’m not sure how many fans were at the annual event, but from the looks of the video below, there were a lot of them.

Here is one of many YouTube videos that shows the collapse, and some of the emergency personnel helping the injured after the collapse.

The storm was expected to hit a little later, and fair officials said that preparations were being made to evacuate the facility. Unfortunately, the storm hit before an evacuation was possible. You can read the full story here.

Jennifer and Kristen posted the following statement on their facebook and web page: “We are alright after our stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair tonight. Many of our fans and friends in Indianapolis may not be. Please keep them in your thoughts, prayers, or whatever form of strength you are able to send. They need you. Thank you.”

I think we all know how dangerous weather can be. But it’s terrible when wind can be the reason for something so devastating.

Have a good Monday everyone. I’ll talk to you all real soon!
