Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah will make a “Joyful Noise” in a theater near you
I’ve been a Dolly Parton fan for a long time. Love her music, love her outfits, and definitely love her theme park, Dollywood, which is only about 90 minutes from my house. And I even love the movies I’ve seen her in. That’s a lotta love. And as you might guess, I am really anxious for the Jan. 13, 2012, release of “Joyful Noise,” where Dolly and Queen Latifah apparently compete against each other to … I’m not sure, either win a choir director job, or just take the choir to first place in a singing competition. Whatever the plot, when it hits theaters, I’m going to be in one of those seats.
Here’s the trailer for “Joyful Noise”. If you have trouble viewing it, you can check it out on YouTube, by clicking here.
Dolly Parton sold out the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Swedenn this past August 27th as part of the singer, songwriter, musician, actress and philanthropist’s tour in support of her new and acclaimed Better Day album. Dolly is currently in Europe for the “Better Day World Tour” which returns to the U.S. beginning October 7th.
As much as I would like to head off to the movies, or pop a DVD in the player, I think I better get myself ready for work. Talk to you all later!
