If you are going to be at home on Wednesday evening, Sept. 14, and you don’t already have your entire night of television planned, you might want to add the premier of ‘Survivor’ on CBS to your “things to watch” list.
One of the members of this year’s cast will not be unfamiliar to country music fans. Whitney Duncan, who you may remember from ‘Nashville Star,’ and her singles “Skinny Dippin’,” and “Right Road Now,” will be on the island fighting for her chance at the Survivor title and prize.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Whitney at two benefit shows for City of Hope, one at the Rutledge in Nashville, and the other at the Hard Rock Café. And of course it was totally my pleasure to get to meet her and speak with her for a short while. She’s a beautiful, talented performer, and I wish her all the best on this year’s “Survivor.”
I won’t be watching this week – I’ll be in Abingdon, Va., seeing the LoCash Cowboys at our Washington County Fair. I’ll catch you next week, Whitney!
Hope everyone has a great Monday!
