Upon hearing the news that Jason Aldean received a Best Country Solo Performance Grammy nomination for “Dirt Road Anthem,” Average Joe’s Entertainment’s Colt Ford, who co-wrote the hit song along with Brantley Gilbert, was ecstatic!

“I’m blown away by the impact of ‘Dirt Road Anthem.’  This song has been so special for Brantley, Jason, and me. Who would have thought that this song would make the whole world wanna ride down a dirt road?  It took an artist with no fear, like Jason, to take a chance on this song.”

“Dirt Road Anthem” reached No. 1 on both Billboard and MediaBase country charts, as well as the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100.  The song also earned Ford his first CMA nomination for Song of the Year.

There’s definitely a lot to look forward to at the 54th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, 2012.
