Country’s Chatter lists favorite songs from 2011

fair Jake Owen 161This list may surprise some of you. It is not the what most of you think of when someone says, “Here are the country songs I think were the very best last year.” However, this list is definitely the list of songs I think were the best of country in 2011.

Some you know, some you’ve heard on the radio, some were actually top 40 hits, and there may even be a No. 1 (or two) in the list below. But these are my picks for the best country songs in 2011.
