After wrapping the first leg of the highly successful Virtual Reality World Tour this past weekend, Brad Paisley has just announced an additional 43 dates with opener Scotty McCreery. Also continuing on the tour will be fellow ACM nominee The Band Perry and labelmate Easton Corbin. The tour kicks off May 18th in St. Louis and ends this fall at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl (full schedule below).

It was also announced that Scotty will be returning to American Idol as the voice behind the show’s new weekly elimination song. Scotty’s cover of Tim MCGraw’s "Please Remember Me" will make its first appearance on the show airing March 8th, when it will also be available on iTunes. "Every week when the song would play and we’d have to watch the goodbye video, it was always a tough time," says Scotty. "The send-off song was always a way to stay connected to the show. I’m glad they chose me to do it.”
