When I put up the title of this post, taken directly from a press release, I really didn’t even want to include ‘Covington.” I think Bucky has pretty much reached the place in country music where he can get by with just one name. He is one many artists I have met over the years, and he is definitely one I feel closest to. This kid is very easy to like. He’s friendly, outgoing, and very sincere. He makes you feel as though you are sitting next to someone you’ve known for many, many years. It’s obvious he appreciates his fans, and he goes out of his way to make sure they know that. And, with all that said, is it any wonder the kid has a sell-out fan club party at CMA Fest this year. Here’s the press release for you all.
BUCKY COVINGTON will be surrounded by a packed house of his devoted fans this Wednesday night, June 6 at Whiskey Bent Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee. Shortly after announcing the event to his fans, the event was at capacity with all available tickets snatched up within hours. Due to the exuberant response, Bucky decided to extend the party with a free full band show later that night.
The fan club party will open to those lucky ticketholders at 8:30 pm where Bucky will mingle, sign autographs, and do a “fan Q&A” with an acoustic performance. Following his sold-out fan club event, all country music fans can join the party downstairs at Nashville’s Whiskey Bent to enjoy the full band performance by Bucky starting around 10:30pm. The event is free and open to the public.
