Jessica Nixon takes the Museum Stage on night three of the Appalachian Fair
Today was day three of our six-day Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn. I have two artists to tell you about for this Wednesday night. I’m going to start with the Museum Stage, where we found Jessica Nixon and her great band on stage at 7 p.m. The group on the Main Stage was Tenth Avenue North, a Christian rock band that I’ll be telling you about either later tonight, or tomorrow morning. (I think it pretty much depends on just how soon I get tired.)
So for tonight, it’s Jessica Nixon. Are some of you sitting out there going, “I recognize that face.” Or perhaps, “I think we’ve read about her before.” If you have been reading Country’s Chatter for a while now, you are right. You’ve definitely seen that face before, and you’ve heard me talk about her from time to time. She is a young lady who has more than proven that she deserves the description “up and coming country star.” Her vocals are awesome, she has fantastic stage presence, she writes, and she’s already what I would consider a performer with a lot of experience. I hope all of you get to see her on the stage sometime soon.
That’s about all I can tell you about Jessica. Anything else would just be to tell you how much I enjoy her music, and how much I like watching her work. I hope you will check out her website, and follow her on Twitter, too @JNixonMusic. So now, You get pictures of Jessica and her band from tonight’s great show!
Keep an eye on this young lady. I’m expecting some big things for her very soon! Back later with a little about our Main Stage artists tonight, Christian Rock Band Tenth Avenue North.
