Randy Travis not involved in incident with his truck, lawyer says
Randy Travis has been through a lot lately. Back on Aug. 9, it was reported that he was charged with driving while intoxicated and retaliation after being found naked on a roadway in Texas. A few days ago, he was involved in a confrontation in a church parking lot, which we are told was not physical and did not involve alcohol. Now, a truck, registered to Randy, has been found wrecked and abandoned in a field behind a WalMart. Randy’s lawyer has said that his client had nothing to do with the incident. “He hasn’t been in that truck or seen that truck in about three months,” he said. “This has nothing to do with Randy whatsoever”. The lawyer said that one of Randy’s ranch hands had ben using the truck, and there have been no charges placed against anyone, as of now.
I am still one of Randy’s biggest fans. Always have been, always will be. I’ve been listening to country music for more than 50 years. Randy Travis has always given me (and the rest of his fans) the kind of music that I have been listening to for the every one of those years. And I hope I get to hear his great sound for a lot more years.
Back in January, I told you about Randy’s 25th Anniversary Tour. That ended in May. While I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him perform live in the past, it didn’t happen for me in 2012. The tour just didn’t get close enough to where I live. But I’ll keep my eyes open for Randy to get back in this area sometime in the (hopefully) very near future.
Always wishing the best for Mr. Travis. I’ll always be hoping we can find a lot of good news about this awesome singer, that it will overshadow the bad news everyone else has out there.
Back with more later!
